The Kimber Camp Guard in 10mm Auto is a 1911-platform semi-automatic pistol aimed at outdoorsmen, hunters, and shooters who want the hard-hitting performance of the 10mm cartridge in a carry-friendly package. Built in Kimber’s American factory, the Camp Guard combines premium materials, traditional 1911 ergonomics, and modern finishing to produce a versatile handgun for woods, range, and field use.

At the heart of the Camp Guard is a 5″ stainless steel match grade barrel, paired with a serrated stainless steel slide finished in a non-reflective matte black KimPro finish. The full-size stainless steel frame wears a contrasting satin silver finish for a clean two-tone look that reduces glare in the field. The match-grade barrel and proven 1911 action deliver the accuracy and reliability expected from a Kimber 1911.

Equipped with a beavertail grip safety to promote a high, controlled hold for managing the 10mm’s stout recoil, the pistol runs the classic single-stack 1911 magazine layout that feeds the 8+1 capacity (8 in the magazine plus 1 in the chamber), and is dressed up with engraved rosewood grips that add both visual appeal and a confident hand-fit.
