The TacFire Heavy Buffer (MAR044) is a pistol-length recoil buffer built for most AR-15 and M4 pattern carbines. The buffer body is machined from aluminum and finished in black anodized for corrosion resistance, with the interior filled with steel to bring the total weight to 4.9 oz.

Drop-in compatible with standard pistol-length buffer tube setups, this heavy buffer adds reciprocating weight to slow the bolt carrier group’s cycling and help tame felt recoil. The added mass can also improve shooting stability and reliable function in your AR build. Machined to tight tolerances, the buffer is designed to slide cleanly inside the buffer tube without causing wear or damage.
